Critical Thinking: Healthcare Financing
In this assignment, you will examine healthcare financing in Saudi Arabia. Use the library to research the need for more private funding of healthcare in Saudi Arabia. Create a 7-8 slide presentation (using PowerPoint or a similar application).
Your presentation should address the following:
1. Description of private and public funding sources in Saudi Arabia.
2. Assess the funding from the following perspective :
• Single payer systems vs. multi-payer systems.
• Identify the necessity for health insurance and policies surrounding changes to require insurance.
3. Identify future challenges in healthcare financing in Saudi Arabia.
Requirements:
1. Your presentation should be 7-8 slides in length, not including the cover or reference slides.
2. Your work must follow academic writing standards and APA style guidelines, as appropriate.
3. Provide support for your statements with in-text citations from a minimum of four scholarly articles. Two of these sources may be from the class readings or textbook, but two must be external.
4. Presentation notes are required for each slide to support the slide content. These can be part of the presentation or delivered as a separate document. If you opt for the former, be aware that the presentation cannot be submitted in PDF format, which does not make notes visible to the instructor.
