You are required to write a report on the critical evaluation of 10 Web sites for a business manager. You should choose 2 Web sites from each of the 5 site groups provided below for evaluation. It is recommended that the report be about 3,000 words, excluding appendix, references, footnotes and/or bibliography.
You should determine your evaluation criteria (approximately 10-15 criteria) based on principles and guidelines for building effective ecommerce Websites and the business models discussed in the prescribed textbook, readings and information gained from your research. In the determination of the criteria, you should also consider the types (groups) of the evaluated sites. Criteria may be different for different types of sites, and you should discuss the difference. You should identify the strengths and weaknesses of the sites in regard to the predetermined criteria. Comparisons should be made between the sites in the same group and between different groups. You should also make recommendations for the design and development of the discussed sites to improve their performance. It is recommended to use tables where possible for better readability of the report.
