You need to study the relationship between drug crimes and poor conditions areas in Boston city. The time period for this study is going to be the last two years (2015 & 2016) as well as the current year 2017.
Data that will be used in this study:
- Crime Incident Reports.
- 311 Service Requests.
Hypotheses:
H0: Drug crime rate dose not increase in the areas that have poor conditions. H1: Drug crime rate does increase in the area that have poor conditions.
Clarification:
- The Drug violation from crime incident reports data will be used to measurer drug crime rate.
- Poor conditions of property, Unsafe dangerous conditions, Rodent activity, and Graffiti removal will be used as indicators for poor conditions areas.
Note:
- Your work should contain at least 10 maps/graphs (such as line graphs, histogram, boxplot, scatter plot, bar chart, ...etc.) use what is ever work better with your analysis.
- Your plots and maps should be explained and make sense as part of your analysis just by writing around it (look homework 4 HTML file that is included for you to see how I explain in it)
- All commented codes turned in R notebook.
- Do not forget to include HTML file as well.
- If you can, do T-test.
