You can use any other sources. Use theoretical references/other experiences etc.
You need to design a Decision Support System for public transportation. where the goal is to support the creation and maintenance of a more efficient and effective service. You need to define how your metrics could be for service performance measurement. Remember to use metrics around Hybrid buses... You need to include users and transporters, government etc. You need to say what kind of data you require and how are you going to develop the system. IT IS KEY TO PRESENT A SIMPLE PROTOTYPE IN EXCEL OR ANY OTHER SOFTWARE TO SHOW YOUR IDEAS. You need to include the way that models will contribute to create Business Intelligence. Be specific and clear. Remember that you need to put theory and reality together. You "must" use a framework and to develop it! in all its parts
Take the time this week to ride on public transportation and you take the notes about data/measures... that can be required for a very good decision support system design.
You need to start from your understanding of what efficiency is in public transportation, how the type of buses has influence on transportation system, how you need to connect customer satisfaction and efficient service (avoid to fall in the trap of thinking that efficient cannot be balanced to good service) and present a simple prototype in any software.
I am expecting a very complete report with all steps of Decision Support components. All with your own words
