You helped me a few weeks ago on this paper and the data. I had to reevaluate my research question because of the data proving that only 15% of customers will us on my way method. I added an incentive of .050 per package to each customer, however I need help with gathering the data and calculation the mean, central tendency, etc (highlighted in yellow). I need similar data that's been presented but with the .050 cent incentive added. My goal is to see how many individuals will participate in this program to make it successful? Online Superstore struggle daily with shipping costs of each package which in turn has a negative effect on revenue. To solve this problem, Team D is proposing a new method that will help alleviate shipping costs and in turn aid with revenue while still getting customers their packages in a timely manner. Company budgets and yearly reports have shown the increase in shipping costs over the course of time. Through some preliminary research, it was determined that if customers favored the "On My Way" program then Online Superstore will save an average of $1 per item sold. This in turn will aid in shipping costs. However, the issue now is whether or not Online Superstore will have enough customers selecting the "On my Way" option over other options such as "Prime Shipping." The company will research the question, will adding a $0.50 discount for selecting the "On my way" option over other options increase customers to choose this option over the rest? Descriptive Statistics Before the discount will be added, Online Superstore took a random sample from one small city to determine if customers felt that using "On My Way" would be better than other shipping options. The descriptive statistics are listed below for shipping cost averages and customer's preferred methods out of a sample of 100 random people within the city of Tracy, CA without the incentive being offered.
