3. Welfare: This category has two subcategories: TANF/AFDC and other cash welfare programs, or in-kind transfer programs like Medicaid, food stamps, etc. (see the book for a complete list).
For the broader categories of welfare and taxation, you might focus on one aspect/part or you could try to stay at a broader level: it is up to you.
