You can promote business separate from private and personal

As a brand manager, my number one choice to reach college-age women and men over 55 via Social Media would be Facebook.

Facebook today is nothing like it was ten years ago. Every one can join, not only college students. You can promote business separate from private and personal profiles and obtain feedback about your product.

If a customer is using a search engine, it will also direct them to the brand's Facebook page. You can pay for ads and sponsor stories that can be viewed while a potential customer is just scrolling down their page to read the latest news, or see their granddaughter's new pictures (men over 55).

Also, since Facebook purchased Instagram in 2012, these adds and sponsor stories can be extended to a whole separate social media outlet where pictures and live streams are all the rage (College-age women).
