You can produce a parking token by two alternative methods. First, cut a 10 mm diameter billet to a length of 10 mm, and then closed-die forge it to the final size and shape (25 mm diameter). Second, you could start with a sheet of material, and stamp it to the final diameter and coin it to the final embossed shape. Compare the energy needed and waste produced by the two methods.
