Imagine this situation:
1. When going over your mid-term exam in your college math class you see that your instructor did not award you full credit for a problem.
2. You believe that he did not examine the work you had done on the back of the answer sheet, which demonstrated your understanding of the problem.
3. You received an "89-B" on the test and the extra points would mean a grade of "93-A".
4. It's Friday afternoon and grades will be posted on Monday.
Using the four components of emotional intelligence (emotional self-awareness, emotional self-management, social awareness, and relationship management), describe what your next steps should be to satisfactorily resolve this situation.
