CASE STUDY INSTRUCTIONS

You are to select one of the ten brief reports of foodborne illness from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided below.

Read the report carefully, then write an analysis of the outbreak described.

The analysis should contain comprehensive discussions of the pathophysiology and epidemiology of the associated agent (e.g., the microorganism), the origin of the reported outbreak compared to other outbreaks of the agent, the reported steps involved in the investigation, and lessons learned from the process.

The required length of this case study is 8 double-spaced pages, not including a title page and reference page.

The case study should also include a title page and reference page.

You should include a minimum of 5 sources from government publications.

You are welcome to use more sources, but at least 5 sources must be from government publications. The formatting should be consistent with the AMA style guide.
