1. You are interested in studying the dating habits of traditional university students, those between the ages of 18 to 21 years. How would you proceed? Be sure to go through the various stages of conducting a social research and apply the stages to what you are interested in studying. Develop a hypothesis and proceed to tell me what research method you plan to use and the reasons behind it. Also state the strengths and weaknesses of the research method of your choice. If you choose to use Survey Research methods, be sure to provide a questionnaire of at least 10 questions
2. Why sample? What are the different forms of sampling? Be sure to list and describe each sampling method and under what conditions you would use them?
3. What are Experimental Designs? Why is it rarely used by Sociologists? How do Social Psychologists use Experimental Designs? Briefly describe the Solomon Ash (1955), Stanley Milgram (1965), and the Elevator Experiment; and what did we learn from these experiments?
