Signal classifier. you are given some continuous signals for a number of sensors on a sensor array. The signals detect several categories of signals. they could be the sensor response to different chemicals or the sound of the voice of different people. The problem is to identify the signals from the signal array and classify them correctly. That is identify the chemical in one example or the person in the other example.
