Topic: Female Anatomy
You will be assisting the nurse practitioner at this week's women's health clinic education hour. The patients/clients range in age from 14-80. To prepare, please research women's physical health issues and choose one (1) topic to discuss such as; menstrual problems, first trimester morning sickness, ectopic pregnancy, menopause, lactation, and uterine fibroids. Using your knowledge of medical terminology create understandable explanations for these issues. Your explanation should include the proper names for anatomical structures, an explanation of what is occurring. Include definitions that will help the participants to understand what those terms mean. Be certain to include references for your information; you will probably want to go beyond your text for this information. You will be looking for medical terms combined with understandable explanations.
You may want to start your post something like: "Good morning, ladies", or "Good morning, Ellen, I understand you are having some concerns about..."
