XYZ company has hried you as a amanagement consultant to help them figure out how to improve their employee engagement. The scores on employee engagement test have been decreasing for the past two years and now the average is below 50 percent.

XTZ is a medium size company in the organic food industry that supplies products to stores such as wegmans and whole food.

Competition in the industry is fierce which has made it neccessary to cut costs.It has been difficult for XYZ management to cntinue to give annual raises and bonues so they were both eliminated last year. The management team is not convince that employee engagement is important. How would you explain the importance of employee engagement to the management team? what initiative would you recommend to reverse the decline in employment engagement score?
