''Writing'' for an audience of your campus classmates, many of whom have just met you, you will describe and explain a "significant" event or series of events in your experiences with language (these experiences might include reading, writing, and/or speaking). Your purpose in telling your classmates about this event(s) is to help them understand your current attitudes toward language (reading, writing, and/or speaking) and your current understanding of what the term "literacy" means. Think of it in terms of what you discovered about yourself because of this experience.
