HINT: You may want to think about research designs (e.g., pre/post tests, surveys, interviews with persons who received benefits compared with those who did not receive them, public record reviews of indicators reflecting changes in the problem (e.g., child abuse rates over time, mortality rates by county, rates of entry into foster care by state or county).
These types of data are often used to test or evaluate if the policy made a difference in the problem.
