Your first writing assignment deals with your worldview about administration (supervision, leadership, management, etc.) and how the material for this week influences your worldview. For the uninitiated, a worldview is:
"A conceptual scheme and set of presuppositions [to assume certain facts to be true or valid beforehand] which we hold (consciously or unconsciously) about the basic make up of the world and by which we interpret and judge reality. It is based on a value system and a primary mode of inquiry" (Sire, 1988, p.17).
As you discuss your worldview, I'm sure many of you will want to incorporate Scripture into your paper. In APA here is how you would do that:
In APA, you do NOT list the Bible as a reference on the reference page (see APA Manual, 6th ed., p.179). You only cite the version you used in the narrative of your paper. So, identify in the first citation the version you used. Example: According to 1 Cor. 13:4 (New International Version [NIV]) "Love is patient, love it kind." Then on the second reference: However, according to Rom 3:23 (NIV) "For all have sinned." . . . and so on. Do NOT list the Bible (or other classical religious works) on the reference page
