Homework: STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION AND STRATEGIC CONTROLS
Introduction:
The Long Project is designed to work in parallel with the Case Homeworks, which build on each other module by module.
After completing the Module 4 Case Homework, in which you wrote a 6- to 8-page paper critically evaluating the fit-or the lack of fit-between the company's mission, strategy, and organizational components crucial to implementation, complete the following SLP homework.
Instructions:
Using the same organization you used in the Module 1, Module 2, and Module 3 SLP Homeworks, write a 2 to 3 pages letter (more instructions below) addressing the following homework components based on the Module 4 Case Homework.
Components:
a. Focusing only on Step 6 from the Module 4 Case Homework ("What changes would you-as the CEO-make to better assure the success of the company's strategy?"), use this final SLP Homework to answer the same question about your chosen organization using the format described in the next step.
b. In the form of a 2 to 3 pages letter, write to your chosen organization as a consultant and provide specific advice based on Step a. You may write in the first person, but be sure that any suggestions you make are based on concepts you learned about in this course. This is not an opinion letter, but rather a business communication that should serve as the finished product the company would receive if it paid you as a consultant.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
