Part A: Current Internationalization
This part provides a thorough analysis of the locations outside the home country where the company has or intends to have in the very near future, an international footprint.
This includes a discussion of the motives for engaging internationally, the timing of the entries and their scope as well as the entry modes (consideration of the various trade links between the countries involved is expected to be part of the analysis.
This part should also provide your own assessment of the relevance, timeliness, and quality of execution of the company's international strategy and whether, in light of recent geo-political and economic developments, a strategic shift is in order.
Part B: Future International Expansion
Based on your assessment of the company's current international strategy in Part A and your analysis of the external and internal environments in which the company currently operates, choose two locations where you think the company should expand next and explain why they are, in your view, its best options.
Make sure to identify possible risk factors and discuss how the company can mitigate their impact on the success of the company's international strategy in those particular countries.
