Problem
Context: This week you will choose a character from The Fault in Our Stars to interview.
Instructions:
I. Imagine you are interviewing the character in front of our class and choose 5 questions you would ask to better understand their perspective on the subject of religion, death, and the afterlife. Think about what this character's views are on religion and on death and the afterlife, and how you think the character would view other perspectives from the religions we covered last week.
II. Using your imagination formed by your reading and class discussion, you will write the hypothetical dialogue of this interview between you and the author. 500 to 750 words.
III. The goals for this assignment are to demonstrate comprehension of the themes of the book and to think about the way this literature causes us to examine the ideas of religion we have covered in class from a unique perspective.
