CVS Health is one of the leading pharmaceutical retail store around the nation. The company has been around since 1960's. The company has developed through many mergers and acquisitions of many specialties and or advantages. Through many years of developing and meeting consumer needs, CVS is now one of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US. According to author Corey Stern from Business Insider, he states that CVS and Walgreen together controls over half of the pharmaceutical retails in the nation. The two largest firms are still competing to gain advantage over the others. Both retails provide basic pharmaceutical services, different private brand labels, drive through, and different selection of groceries products. Even after having many advantages such as delivery service, MinuteClinic, and big selection of beauty and cosmetics products, Walgreens still shares the larger parts of retail industry. Although the services are similar, the customers still drifts towards Walgreens. Therefore, the company must develop something new and exciting that meets consumer needs to develop and gain more advantages.
