Problem:
In classical conditioning, you learn to associate two stimuli. A stimulus automatically triggers a response. Like, my phone alarm triggers anxiety from school or work, every time it goes off I know I have to study or start getting ready for work. Now every time I hear a phone alarm similar to mine it triggers that response in my mind. Operant conditioning is a type of learning where a person does something to get something in return, and they will continue doing it if they get the reward. I positively reinforce myself after completing all my assignments to do something relaxing or fun over the weekend. This keeps me motivated and locked in during the week knowing that this hard work will pay off and I will get a reward in the end. Observational learning is learning by watching other people and then copying their actions. As as child we would do this often, copying adults and wanting to become like them. This also applies in nursing, as a nurse, I can use observational learning by watching other nurses pass meds, communicate with patients, and respond to stress. I can imitate them to learn how to do something right, but in addition; I can learn faster from observing others and become more confident. Write response taking into account nursing skills in about 100 words. Need Assignment Help?
