Assessment Task - Over the last several decades the importance of international trade and commerce has been driven by the significant expansion of world economy and the increasing global nature of the commercial services industry. The rules, regimes and practices applicable governing international trade and commerce are the key issues of this unit. In this assessment, students are required to demonstrate detailed and systematic knowledge of, and an ability to critically analyze, evaluate and synthesize the key issues of international trade and commerce.
You are required:
A) To read and understand the feedback for your Assignment 1;
B) To choose a topic that you wish to study and analyze; the topic should be different from that of Assignment 1;
C) To comprehensively use a range of library-based and electronic resources and/or first-hand empirical data;
D) To present, explain and critically evaluate a range of substantive and theoretical arguments;
E) To demonstrate detailed knowledge, through structured and discursive writing, of the contextual challenges and implications of the topic you choose related to international trade and commercial.
Report Format: Total words: 3500. The report should consist of the following: Title page, student ID, word count, contents page, introduction, findings and discussion, conclusion, reference list, appendices (if necessary). The report MUST be referenced using the Harvard system.
