Assignment: Organizational Theory
Select one of the following organizations on which to conduct research: Alibaba, Berkshire Hathaway, BP, CVS Health, Hilton, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Panasonic, Royal Dutch Shell, Tata Consulting Services, or Valextra. Only organizations from this list are acceptable.
Write 8 to 10 pages paper including title page and reference page. The submission must be typed, double-spaced, and have uniform 1- inch margins in 12-point Times New Roman font. The organizational analysis will contain the following sections:
1) Title page
2) Abstract
3) Introduction of the organization, including history and background (i.e. founders/leaders)
4) Organizational strategy
5) Organizational design and your assessment of effectiveness
6) Organizational culture
7) Conclusion - what you would change about the selected organization for improvement
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
