An object of mass 4 kg stretches a spring 0.2m. The object is set in motion with an initial velocity of 1 m/s downward from the equilibrium position and the force of the air resistance is 10 times the velocity of the object. No external force is applied other than setting it in motion.

(a) Write out the differential equation that describes the motion of the object, and the initial condition given;

(b) Is this system underdamped, overdamped, or critically damped
