1- One paragraph a piece of art at the Frye Art Museum that you find beautiful, and explain objectively (without using the first person) why this piece is beautiful. Connect any of your supporting points to others' theories/concepts of beauty, like Dennis Dutton, Pam Belluck, Richard Seymour, etc., whenever you can.
2- Please list your observations of beautiful 'things' here; make sure to add 3-5 sentences of analysis. For further details on this assignment, please see the Announcement I posted a few minutes ago, titled "Homework Reminders..."
This is a starting point for our individual research and for class discussion, so be clear and thorough, but don't spend too, too much time on this.
