Scenario of 2 girls living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney Emma and Chloe are both 19 years old and both live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Chloe was born to a single mother when her mother was only 17 years old and grew up in a unit in Maroubra, whilst Emma lived not far away in the suburb of Coogee in a house with her parents who were married in their late 20s. Chloe's mum worked long hours at a local shop and by the time she got home she was too tired to cook, so they mostly ate premade meals such as lasagne or take away. Emma's mum worked part-time as a relief teacher as her dad had an above average income - her mum loved to make nutritious home cooked meals and packed healthy lunches. Chloe's mum was determined to send Chloe to a Catholic school, and she attended the local Catholic school. However, Chloe never felt like she belonged as no one else there lived in a unit and she was constantly teased. Her mother was usually at work early and Chloe often went 3 to school without eating breakfast and felt so hungry during the day that she struggled to concentrate. These factors affected her grades. Emma went to the same school where her mum often worked as a relief teacher. Her mother was available to her in the afternoons and would help with her homework, and she had very good grades. Chloe's home had mould and her mother smoked inside the house. She developed eczema over her face and body, which made her very self-conscious, particularly as she entered puberty. Due to all the stress in her life, Chloe also took up smoking as a teenager. Emma's home had a big garden and a trampoline, and she spent lots of time playing outdoors. She developed a dust allergy as a child; however, it was identified early by their GP and she was given treatment. Her parents were able to afford an allergy vacuum cleaner, and appropriate pillows and sheets, and her allergy was mostly under control. At the age of 16 Chloe fell in love and was pregnant at the age of 17. Both girls are now 19 - Chloe is still living in the unit with her 18-month-old toddler as a single mum whilst Emma, with the financial help of her parents, just moved into an apartment with some friends from the University of Sydney where she is doing a degree in business.
