Write a few sentences (about 100 words) integrating a quote that you will be using in your homework. You can cite from the articles you will be using or you can cite from the novel itself for this activity. Be sure to connect your quote to the rest of your sentences. You can do this via signal phrases ("Smith argues" OR "According to Smith," etc) or by integrating your quote as it grammatically fits into your sentence.
Topic: Analyze the ending of the novel. What are the "circles of sorrow" that Nel experiences? Is the ending pessimistic, optimistic, or something else altogether?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
