Write down an expression for the time dependent emf


A circular coil of 10 turn of radius 1 cm is positioned in a constant magnetic field of 0.1 T. The coil rotates having a constant angular speed of 10 s-1 about an axis perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field. Therefore, the orientation of the loop orientation of the area vector transforms with respect to the magnetic field. The change in orientation can be defined by the change in the orientation angle.

(i) Write down an expression for the time dependent magnetic flux via the coil (do not forget, it is a 10 turn coil).

(ii) The changing magnetic flux induces the emf in the coil. Write down an expression for the time dependent emf.

(iii) Compute the induced emf at 0 s, 0.1 s, 0.2 s, 0.3 s and 0.4 s
