You are involved in the recruitment of a middle manager for an accounting firm, and sit in on the interviews with the candidates.
The first candidate, Jakob, says that "One of the things I really want to do is to make sure that there is no gap between what we say we are going to do, the formal structure, so to speak, and what we actually do, the informal. As it says in the rules and our governing documents and routines, that is exactly what we must always do. In this way, we ensure quality and create a transparent business that both we and the customers can trust!".
