Task:
Write an informative essay of at least 2 double-spaced 12 pt. font pages (typed) identifying and explaining three "good writing" techniques in any (1) of the following stories: "Snow" Julia Álvarez" Be sure to include at least two direct quotes from the text in each body paragraph.
The format is as follows:
- An introduction with a hook and thesis
- Three body paragraphs with ONE topic sentence each and supporting details
- At least two supporting quotes in each body paragraph from the text
- A conclusion with a restatement of the thesis and an interesting ending
- Your margins should be only 1 inch. Your spacing should be double. Your font should be 12 point and Times New Roman. Title of your paper should be no more than 3-4 lines that make up 1/4th of the first page; there is no need for a cover page. Your essay should reach at least the bottom of the second page when these requirements are followed.
- You are not required to use APA in-text citation for this paper, but you must follow the conventional formatting requirements for APA listed above.
