Short Essay 2 (Optional)
Before the Civil War the sectional controversy seemed to boil down to the conflict between those states utilizing and supporting Slave Labor and those states that used Wage labor. In fact, there seemed to be two different societies within the boarders of the United State.
In this assignment you will write an essay to Compare and Contrast the two social models
a) the Southern-Antebellum-Socio-economic-model
b) Northern-Antebellum-Socio-economic-model which were explained in Notes Adjuncts for Chapter Ten and Chapter Eleven.
