Writing Assignment: Position Essay on Nuclear Power
The issue of whether to use and promote nuclear power is a contentious one. What if your state was considering building a nuclear power plant near your community? How would you feel? What reasons would you use to support or oppose the plant construction? Use what you have learned in this section as a starting point to create a reasoned letter to the editor of your local newspaper.
