Problem Solution Essay Directions
College can prove to be a time of great change and stress for many students. Write an essay identifying a problem you encountered in your transition to college. Research possible solutions for the issue you identified.
The essay will follow the structure outlined below.
• Introductory paragraph--Briefly identify the problem in your thesis statement
• Body paragraph 1 --Fully explain all aspects of the problem.
• Body paragraph 2--Discuss possible solutions to the problem.
• Concluding paragraph-- briefly restate the solutions to the problem
• Your paper will use a minimum of one source and should include at least two ideas from that article. That information needs to be stated in your own words.
