Essay for Art
Not all art appeals to all people. People differ on their definition of art. Some people find art offensive. Look at either one of the following works, Marcel Duchamp's "The Fountain" (in your book) or Andres Serrano's "Piss Christ" (not in you book) and answer the following question: Is this art? Why or Why Not? Your answer should be between 400 and 500 words in length and should reflect a thoughtful reflection of the question, the definition or nature of art, and a brief summary of the work.
