Write a 200 words entry about the film Welcome, Mr Marshall. The point of this entry is to convey your initial reaction to the film in the context of the topics and ideas discussed in this module's lecture, and therefore you have a lot of freedom to write about many different things. You are welcome to express whether you liked the film or not, but try to go beyond a mere stating of likes and dislikes. You can state what it is that you specifically liked or disliked, but more importantly you should explain why. You can discuss what the main themes and motifs of the film are, as well as they way in which those themes and motifs are constructed in the film. You might choose to focus on one specific aspect that you consider particularly relevant. Again, don't just list that important aspect, but rather argue why it is important, how it condenses or exemplifies in a significant way the overarching purpose of the film. Finally it is important that, whatever you decide to write about, you do it in the context of the issues discussed in this module's lectures.
