For this assignment, you'll assume the role of a CEO of a small company. It's Monday morning and your firm has just completed a downsizing of 10% of the company's employees due to a serious downturn in demand for the company's products.
The laid-off employees have been notified of their termination and escorted to the door (after brief meetings with their direct managers and an HR representative).
Write an email to be distributed to all remaining employees to notify them of this action, the reasons for the layoff, and the prospects for the future of the company.
(Note that this letter is not to inform targeted employees that they are being laid off.)which should be at least 500 words, single spaced.
