Write an account of someones day from their point of view

Problem

A Day in Someone Else's Shoes

Objective:

Write an expository account from a point of view perspective.

One method of understanding point of view is to write about something from another 'pair of eyes.' You may write an account from the shoe's perspective OR the person wearing them. A good way to begin is in the morning. Answer these questions about the following;

a) Do they get up early?
b) Stay up late?
c) Work?
d) Play?
e) What kinds of conflict do they encounter in their day?

Use the guidelines given above to write an account of someone's day from their point of view. After writing your account, recall the elements of literature you have learned in previous lessons and identify these elements in your writing. Plot, character, and setting will be particularly important. Your response must be 3-5 paragraphs detailing a day in the shoes of another person
