Essay prompt: Write a an essay focusing on one of these themes:
(1) The intersection of faith, medicine, and superstition;
(2) Ethical dilemmas related to medical research;
(3) The larger societal impact of significant advancements in the treatment and prevention of disease.
(4) The commerce of medical practice and research
You will chose a theme, write about how that theme relates to the Skloot book, and write about an example of that theme from European history 1400-1900.

You should use at least two of the listed sources for your essay.
Your essay should be 6 full pages to 8 pages in length, 12 font, double-spaced, not including a title page (which is not necessary) or the Works Cited page (which is required).
