This is a list of resources that will help you get started on your research project. Read these articles and watch the video, taking note of each author's main argument and how the position is supported (what examples does the author give as support?)

Write a working thesis statement that identifies the topic/position you are arguing for, then develop an outline that lists the major points of your discussion, all of which should support your thesis statement. Indicate on the outline where your sources will be used. Be sure to include at least one paragraph that discusses why people might hold a different stance on the issue than the position you're arguing for.
