INTRODUCTION:

"What men can do, women can do it much better"

I choose this ethical issue because women play a very important role in making businesses a success. They have the potential just like men I fact most of them even do better as compared to their counterparts plus gender equality boost the economy.

THESIS STAEMENT:

Businesses that embrace women practice a smart strategy to make their institutions successful. Businesses that don't embrace women are like killing themselves slowly and they will eventually be lagging behind in the global economy but those that invest in and empower women will have a comparatively favorable position. You will always find that most companies that embrace women outperforms those with no women on the board.

• FACTS:

• Women manage stress better as compared to their male counterparts thus you find that women think more clearly and can be strong in times of adversity.in business they will tend to perform better during times of adversity as compared to men suffering from similar adversity.

• When it comes to matters of commitment women are really committed as compared to men because they will always give their best to something they love so if a woman likes her work you can be sure that she will fully commit herself to it.

ETHICAL ISSUE THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED:

• Individual level: those people who are biased toward women holding senior positions in businesses should change their mind set and understand women have an equal footing just like men. Plus women who place themselves low and don't believe in themselves need to be encouraged and given moral support and made aware that they can even do better than their male counterparts and that gender does not limit the potential that a person have.

• Organizational level: organizations should ensure that women advance to senior position or probably having an equal share in senior position as men. This can be made possible by promoting and nominating them. This will greatly have a positive impact on the organization.

• Societal level: for a society to experience growth economically they must encourage women to participate in building the economy.thus,they should treat women as persons who have equal capacity and potential just like men and change their attitude towards the position of women in the society.

ALTERNATIVES FOR MAIN PEOPLE INVOLVED:

• Individual can be educated to enable them that what a man can do a woman can do it to.

• Gender balance should be made a must in organizations and those businesses that fail to uphold that should pay hefty penalties or have their licenses cancelled.

• Educating and empowering women will help change the society's attitude towards females holding equal positions as male.

MORAL VIRTUE THEORY:

This theory discourages people from following the popular opinion, relying on one's culture, external laws and customs.so in accordance to this discussion individual, society and organization should detach themselves from the popular perception of women and embrace change by understanding that women have the potential to perform equally or better than men

DUTY THEORY:

This encourages one to improve his or her talents and skills it does not categorically state whether it's a man or a woman.it also states all people should be treated equally and the right of one person implies the duty of another. This concludes that we all have our own potential no gender should be sidelined against the other.

UTILITARIANISM:

This places the specific location of right and wrong on the consequences of choosing one action over the other. And this should assist us in determining whether placing women in senior position is it to the advantage of the organization or to its disadvantage? And according to my opinion women can as well do better as their counterparts

• There should be gender balance in the management of organizations.

This being 21st century my decision will be welcomed by all the parties involved and taking into consideration that majority of clients it Twitter are women.

CONCLUSION:

• Having women in top position works towards the advantage of organization

• No gender is superior than the other

• We should all work towards improving our talents and skills\

• Those organization that incorporate women in their management perform more better

My decision is that no gender is superior. We all have have different talents and skills and organizations should not favor one gender and discriminate the other.
