Read text book "The Life You Can Save" by Peter Singer, Chapters 1 and 2.
Then, write a 1-2 page double-spaced summary of it. You can organize it however you want, as long as you cover the main points of all three chapters.
This is a summary, not a persuasive essay, so you do not need a thesis. However, your summary should mention the title and author of the book at the beginning so readers know your subject. See a sample reading summary here.
You can reflect on your opinions about the book and the author's ideas, but make sure you first adequately summarize the author's points.
