1. Choose a movie that you think would be interesting and enjoyable for the class to watch.
2. Write a short summary of the film (no more than 150 words). List the film title, year of original release, director, principal actors, and give a short synopsis of the plot. [You may research the film to prepare the synopsis, but do not quote it directly.]
3. Explain why you think the film would be valuable/enjoyable/interesting for the class to watch, with special attention to the elements of film as described in our course text.
4. Include a summary paragraph that reviews your reasons why your classmates should vote for this film.
5. Movie nominations posted by 6/12/17 at 11:59 p.m. will earn two (2) extra credit points.
6. If the film you nominate is chosen by the class, you will earn an additional three (3) extra points. If your film receives the second highest number of votes, you will receive an additional two (2) extra points. If your film receives the third highest number of votes, you will receive one (1) additional extra credit point.
7. Movie nominations which do not meet the five requirements listed above will not earn the extra credit points.
