• Include a sub-section with a 1-2 paragraph introduction to the goals of the analysis and the major methodological concerns for the analysis.
• Identify and justify the univariate, bivariate and/or multivariate statistical techniques that will be used to describe and analyze your quantitative data, and if necessary, the approach to analysis of your qualitative data. Devote one sub-section per hypothesis, describing all the techniques to be used to test that hypothesis. Make certain that you address how you will handle the “design effect” in your analysis. This need not be detailed but should provide evidence that you understand the need for unique analytic strategies in your community intervention study

• Please present a 1-2 paragraph describing the dissemination plan for your proposed research. Consider who the stakeholders in your research may be. Consider how you may wish to customize your dissemination products so that they are appropriate for various audiences. Please upload this assignment into the Week 10 Discussion Forum. This will not become a formal section of the final proposal. However, you will need to include some of these ideas when you are writing the “Implications” section of the proposal.

Please consider the ethical issues involved in your proposed research. Highlight the ethical dilemmas that you will face in this study and how you will handle them. If you were actually sending this for funding, NIH would require that you receive IRB approval for the research. Consider what elements may cause IRB concern and develop a sound strategy for ensuring the protection of human subjects in your research. These paragraphs will become part of the proposal.
