Problem: Can you write me a response to this ladies discussion board post?
Hi everyone, my name is Autumn McQueen I am a 43-year-old single mother of two teenage daughters ages 19 and 17. I help take care of my elderly mother after my father's passing nearly 3 years ago. I had originally decided to further my education by getting my degree in Human Services to continue my work in recovery however I am still undecided on whether I will take this a step farther and become a substance abuse counselor. After battling drug addiction for nearly 25 years, I got sober thanks to help from several counselors, as well as a case manager or two, my family and God bringing me (literally) back to life. I have been sober for 5 years and currently work at a Suboxone clinic as a Registered Adult Peer Support Specialist. I love my job, to me there is nothing better than watching the life come back into my client's eyes. I absolutely love all animals I have two chiweenies (well technically each of my daughters have one) Flower and Daisy are their names, we have a family dog that started off as a stray 7 years ago he is a golden retriever (but looks like a big bear) his name is Blu and he has recently in his old age decided he is now a house dog, I have a tabby cat named Swiper my girls got me shortly after my dad and grandmother passed away he is a different kind of cat he loves to be loved on as soon as I come home he jumps in my arms and perches himself on my shoulder like a parrot, My daughter also has a tabby cat that her and my dad saved after the mother and siblings were killed by a dog they bottle fed the kitten and it was the only one that lived her name is Hawk (not sure why lol), and last but not least we had someone drop off a very sick female cat that we named Little Momma after several vet trips she is now healthy and had her first litter of kittens well kitten I should say and we named him toasty because he's the color of a burnt marshmallow but those two stay outside, for some reason the chiweenies do not like them to be in the house. I live in Eastern Kentucky, if you have heard of the Red River Gorge that's where I am at. I know this was a little long winded and more than what was expected but I would rather get the formalities out of the way.
