You have been in your present post for several years, and have reached a point where you feel bored and frustrated. Unless you can develop the post in some new direction, you feel that you should look for a new job. Your line manager is supportive, and has asked you to write a proposal showing how the post could be developed.
Write your proposal of about 600 - 800 words to the Line Manager, outlining the situation and referring to the following:
• the aspects of your post which you believe could be developed
• details of any training you would need
• how your present duties would be covered
• the benefits this would bring the company
