You will write a 3-4-page research-based paper that focuses on the contrasting ultimate war objectives of Kim Il-Sung's North Korean government and Syngman Rhee's South Korean government. How did their attempts to unify the Korean peninsula reflect the differing beliefs of their respective allies, the communist nations of the Soviet Union and China, and those of the United Nations and the United States?
