From the beginning of the known evidence of Art History, the human figure has been a constant (and necessary) subject matter throughout the ages. Write a reflective paper chronicling the development of figurative art from the Prehistoric Age through the Greek Age. It's a good idea to revise your project based on instructor feedback as you receive it. The finalized project, due in Unit 8, will require you to incorporate the instructor feedback.
Instructions:
In your reflective paper, chronicling the development of figurative art from the Prehistoric Age through the Greek Age. You will also include examples of artwork from your textbook and use them to support your ideas. Your paper should include the following topics in this order:
• Introduction
• Topic 1: Prehistoric Art
• Topic 2: Ancient Near Eastern Art
• Topic 3: Egyptian Art
• Topic 4: Aegean Art
• Topic 5: Greek Art
• Conclusion
As a reflective paper, you are not required to write in the third person. Rather, use this opportunity to share your reactions to the artistic progression through the ages. All other APA formats are required, including a cover page and reference page.
