Industry and Professional Associations
In this assignment, every student will select a different Canadian industry/ professional association to review and assess from an economic perspective. The industry and professional association selection process will be explained in detail during the class.
The purpose of this assienment will be to determine the involvement of the selected association in national economic issues. Students will identify the types of economic issues that the industn-lprofessional association is involved with and determine the rationale for the position that these associations are taking. Your independent assessment of the orzanizatiotis position on these matters should also be include& Any other economic implications resulting from the work of the industry group or professional association should also be identified (e.g. through provision of training services for government).
