Assignment 2

Choose one of the two policies that you used in Assignment 1, and continue your research and analysis for Assignment 2.

Write a four to five page paper in which you:

1. Revise Assignment 1 based upon your professor's feedback, and resubmit the written analysis.

2. As a separate document, write a one page summary of the chosen policy's purpose, context of the problem, and any policy recommendations or suggestions geared toward addressing the related problem.

3. Prioritize the most influential actors, including official, unofficial, and interest groups. Elaborate on the role and primary function(s) of each of the identified actors.

4. Select two of the actors from Question 3. Prioritize their political influence, motives, conflicts, interrelationships, and impact on the policy. Justify your response.

5. Include at least four academic references (no more than 5 years old) from material outside the textbook. Note: Appropriate academic resources include academic and governmental Websites, scholarly texts, and peer-reviewed articles. Wikipedia, other wikis, and any other websites ending in anything other than ".gov" do not qualify as academic resources.

Note: The Assignment 1 revisions must flow together with Assignment 2 as one seamless paper. However, the revised and resubmitted version of Assignment 1 is not included within the page length requirement for Assignment 2.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.

• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the professor's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
